Animation Festival: ANIBIA is the place where we celebrate, meet, and share artistic and cultural creation, specifically the diverse forms of audiovisual animation. It takes place on a rotating basis throughout Colombia and is affiliated with international initiatives that share this objective and promote the dissemination of animated works.

Serval Films is a stop-motion film studio based in Medellín, Colombia. Founded in 2022, we develop films, series, music videos, and commercials. We blend the narrative strength of stop-motion animation with sustainable production practices. We collaborate with creators and brands from different countries, and our films have premiered and received awards on the international festival circuit.

Arius de los Ríos (Cusco, Peru). Photographer and stop-motion animator. In 2012, he received a scholarship to attend the Screenwriting Diploma program at the Ibero-American Forum for Film Studies (El Foro) in Mexico. He taught himself stop-motion animation until October 2020, when he received a scholarship to participate in “Ajayulab 2020,” an animation workshop (specializing in stop-motion) held as part of the “Festival Internacional de Animación Ajayu.” He has collaborated on stop-motion projects for the artists Damaris and Milena Warthon. He is co-director of the short film “Masa,” produced as part of the “Laboratorio RAD Pukllay” in 2024. He also directed the animated scene for Jacqueline Riveros’s short film “Tanta Wawa.”
